I think the greatest value of a book like this is to see a guy who was just common, but yet he was extraordinary in his duty to prayer. It was certainly not an easy life but it seemed to be said very often that there was true joy in the sacrifice and dedication.

Sometimes in reading this book, I felt that the emPHAsis was being put on the wrong syl-LA-ble, givi Earlier I shared that I found this book insightful, especially about Second Birth, and I enjoyed reading about this remarkable man. I learned about what a true Intercessor looks like- someone who chooses out of love to suffer alongside those who are suffering in order to pray for them and to gain victory for the kingdom of God.

And is it okay to pray for something to stop affecting us even if it means other people, in this case Africa and Russian rather than Britain, suffer? The book is packed away in storage with most of our other Library books so I am very excited to be able to download the book and to do it free is a bonus too.
